"El Color de Nuestra Piel" Directed by Lucia Macias
July 28 - August 7, 2016

The story encompasses a wealthy patriarch, Don Ricardo, a prominent businessman and retired general, of 20 years, from Mexico's revolutionary federal forces.  Don Ricardo is blinded by his belief that people of lighter skin color, in his country, are superior to those with darker skin. Our Vision

The Pharr Community Theater Company will be recognized throughout the Rio Grande Valley for our artistic excellence in the performing arts, innovative programming in education, creative integration of cultural heritage, and revitalization of communities. 

Our theater supports literacy and community revitalization through the Arts.
 
Dr. Elva Michal founded the Pharr "Black Box" Community Theater to provide English Language Learners with the opportunity to use their new skills in a conversational setting. With the new space comes new and expanded programs.
